Debra Hilton is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. Debra grew up in Blue Eye, Missouri. After graduating high school, Debra attended William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. While at William Woods, Debra was a member of the Women's Basketball team. She graduated early from William Woods receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, then went on to pursue her law degree at University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.
During law school, Debra gained a great deal of experience in family law and personal injury while clerking at the same firm where Brandi cut her teeth as a law student and for her first several years of practice. Having this shared background at the same prestigious firm for one of the most well-respected personal injury attorneys in Missouri creates a synergy between Brandi and Debra that is seconded by no other personal injury team around and is a huge benefit to the firm's clients.
Debra started at Ward Law Firm as a law clerk, and then stayed with the firm upon passing the Bar. As a practicing attorney, she brings excellent litigation skills to the firm and it's clients. She is warm, welcoming, and compassionate, but is also strong and confident, providing the perfect balance for success in the courtroom in all types of cases. She focuses her practice with the firm on family law matters such as divorce, custody, child support, paternity, adoption, and guardianship cases, as well as criminal law matters such as DWIs, DUIs, BWIs, drug charges, traffic tickets, and such. Debra is also part of the firm's personal injury litigation team, focusing on auto accidents, semi-truck collisions, motorcycle wrecks, and other personal injury cases.

Personally
After living in Mid-Missouri for seven years, Debra was eager to make her way back home to the Branson area and joined the Ward Law Firm team in 2017. She is an extremely hard worker, having worked her way through college and law school balancing her time between work, school, and sports. Despite maintaining a busy schedule, Debra always puts forth her greatest effort to achieve whatever she sets her mind to do. While she takes great pride in her academic achievement and work ethic, her greatest joy comes with spending time with her two sons and extended family. Debra is part of a very close-knit and supportive family as the oldest of three siblings, having a sister, a brother, and a niece. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time on the lake fishing, swimming, and barbecuing with her loved ones. She also puts continual focus on growing in her faith and attends Woodland Hills Family Church. Debra lives her life knowing that she is capable of anything through her faith in God. No matter what task or situation is put in front of her, Debra is dedicated to always giving her best effort and we have no doubt that she is and will continue to be a great blessing to the clients of Ward Law Firm.
